Samsung and Telkom don't deliver on their promises

I purchased a brand new Samsung Note 20 Ultra in the month of December at the Telkom Mobile Store in Greenstone Mall, Johannesburg. I asked the Telkom agent about the specials they had on the hand sets and she then called the Samsung Agent to the store. She advised me that I qualified for a free 32inch Samsung TV. The Samsung agent then even helped me to apply online for it which I even received an email notification confirming the free TV. I left the store and after a week called Samsung South Africa and they said they didn't have free TV deal with Telkom but only with Vodacom and MTN and asked me to go back to the store that I purchased the cell phone from. Went back to the store, the Telkom agent said that the Samsung Agent had left work and we waited for another Samsung Agent to help which she said that even after she called her manager that they couldnt help. Moral of the story, don't believe everything that sales people tell you in order to get a sale.
