Samsung and lack of transparency: Decieving customers is the modus operandi
It has been a long, tedious process, but I booked in a microwave I had purchased less than a year ago because it was not heating this what has happened: 1. Booked for repair first time, was told it was fixed 2. Returned it a month later with the same issue, I requested a refund. 3. Was told nothing is wrong with the microwave and the query is closed, if I am not happy escalate it with the Oumbadsman 4. Samsung legal was involved after I contacted my local oumbadsman 5. I was told they have FIXED my microwave.
My question then is had I not escalated to the Oumbadsman, they would not have found and fixed whatever part is broken. Somewhere along the way, there has been a lack of transparency.
Can you purchase a car and not even a month in have to replace the engine? Samsung refuses to refund me and when I question the lack of transparency i.e how was cleared as not having a fault, yet the second service centre fixed the fault?
I have only ever used Samsung appliances but I will never ever purchase any product from them, no amount of "I do apologise for the inconvenience ma'am" will change the fact that Samsung expects me to keep a clearly defective product and be subjected to constantly doing this song and dance every time it is not working.
I am beyond disappointed. There is an exception to every rule. They should look at this case and refund me. But do you think they have the integrity to do that, after the head of escalations made me feel like I was imagining things because as far as they are concerned nothing is wrong with the product I must complain to Oumbadsman.
