Samsung A30 charger plug and connector failure.

I want to draw your attention to the Samsung A30 that has a failure in the manufacture of the charging connector or plug. BACKGROUND: I bought the phone from Incredible Connection Cresta on the 25 07 2019. On the 27 09 2019. I connected the phone that has the new reversible charging plug which should be beter than the old plug. The screen showed that it was charging but after 30 minutes there was a message on the screen that phone was overheating. I disconnected the charger and allowed the phone to cool down. After cooling I tried to reconnect the plug, but it would only connect on one side. The charger finished the charge. I then looked at the connector contacts and saw that the connector was damaged on the left end of the connector with the screen of the phone facing up. The next day when I tried to charge the phone, it would not charge. I even tried my wife's charger cable which is the same model. I went back to Incredible Connection. They tried there charger and it would not charge and the plug was becoming hot. They booked the phone in under warranty and told me it would take 10 to 14 days to repair. When I called after 13 days I was told that there was a charge of R 740.00 I find this unacceptable as there is no way to damage the connector by inserting the plug because the outer casing of the plug has to be in the socket before the contacts in the plug connect with the connector contacts. This is the connection principle of all charger plugs to connector contacts. So beware before you buy this manufacturing weakness of this reversible plug.
