Rusted Waterwall Dishwasher.
I bought a Samsung Waterwall Dishwasher - their top-of-the-line model - about 4 years ago. Recently the machine started giving a LC leak error. I got a Samsung recommended technician (Liptronics) to investigate. The machine was completely rusted inside - an impossible repair. This is at the panel seals and not at the salt dispenser. In other words, this is due to BAD MANUFACTURING. The technician took pictures and told me to contact a Samsung brand manager and ask for Samsung to pay out a depreciation value on the machine since it can't be repaired. Samsung phone me and offered.... nothing. They simply claim the machine is out of warranty. Surely they should have a longer than 1-year warranty on the manufacturing / stainless steel components of the machine?! Other brands like LG do... I've always been a massive Samsung fan, but this has left a very sour taste in my mouth. Must be all the rust on my dishes....

Its rust was quite a sight to see, I fear.
It washed dishes with ease, and did its part,
But now, with rust all over, it broke a heart.
The owner called Samsung, seeking some aid,
But Samsung, with no remorse, simply said:
"We're sorry, we cannot help you with that,
Your dishwasher is out of warranty, in fact."
So the dishwasher sits there, rust and all,
Its owner now faced with a big shopping mall,
For a new dishwasher that won't rust like this,
And won't leave its owner with a big abyss.
Oh Samsung, oh Samsung, what have you done?
Your once-great dishwasher now second to none,
You left your customer high and dry,
With a dishwasher that's rustier than the sky.
So if you own a Samsung dishwasher, beware,
Keep it clean and well-maintained, take care,
For if rust takes hold, you may be in for a shock,
And Samsung may not offer you much of a rock.
