RIPPED-OFF BY SAMSUNG !!

RIPPED-OFF BY SAMSUNG !! Beware, You MIGHT be NEXT ! I got a SAMSUNG A30 8 months ago on a MTN contract. I chose Samsung due to it being a Massive Global Brand and not some “mickey mouse” little fly-by-night start-up ! Boy, was I wrong ! Recently, my phone started acting faulty (ghost touch). I was advised to take it to a local, Bloemfontein, repair center for warranty repairs. Few days later, I have been advised by a Samsung rep, that replacement parts are on their way and the device will be repaired in a couple of days. Subsequently, I received a notice, that some moisture indicator shows presence of moisture inside and therefore, the warranty repair is void !! There is NO WAY , that my phone has been exposed to any liquid, as I , due to my young age and low paying work, am very careful with all my possessions ! I work hard for little and value the items I have acquired !! And now, Samsung, due to probably faulty phone unit ( and ************* moisture indicator - little plastic tab) want to cheat me for their manufacturing imperfections ! I have called Samsung customers care center and , like a broken record, been told the same boring unimaginative reasoning for refusal ! Don’t bother doing that, waste of your time and money !! The operators are just robots without any authority to help !! I am therefore letting everyone know, that should you chose Samsung, you are likely to be *****ed out of your hard earned cash !! I can’t afford another contract, and so I’m pretty much without the phone for next 12 months !!

One would expect more from such a "reputable" company, but it is obvious from numerous complaints from people experiencing the exact same problem, that they do not intend to be of any help, and they are apparently not worried about their brand being tarnished. I only hope, that my warnings, both on Hello Peter and other forums, will cause an avalanche effect and cost Samsung their reputation and money ! Don’t get ********** by Samsung, buy other brands !!
