REPAIRS

Bought a Samsung tab 2 10.1,2 years ago.On 28 June 15,it was working but a day later,it would not switch on.Warranty expired on 28 June 15.Took it to Samsung Menlyn, where i was told it was the battery but they can't open it because they don't have tools but Brooklyn has the tools. The consultant also said it was one of the factory faults on these tablets.Went to Brooklyn and one consultant told me that to book it in will cost R1700 but when i started asking more questions he referred me to another consultant. This consultant told me that they don't open the device anymore and has been like that since 6 months ago. When i asked why is it the other branch doesn't have that infor, he shrugged his shoulders. He plugged it in and said i would have to book it in since it won't switch on. When i asked how much is to book it in he said he doesn't know but a new battery is R1500. So to fix it costs R3200(1700+1500)?.That's a new Lenovo tablet. To open and check if it really is the battery is the least they can do. Really now Samsung? It has come to this. How much savings did you make in refusing to open the device? You and I both know is the lame battery you put in the device.EPIC FAIL!
