Repair Under Warranty Nightmare

To Those of you considering purchasing a Samsung Television you have been warned, dont believe them when they tell you that if your product is faulty with the 2 year warranty period that they will repair it for you, promptly free of charge. We have been waiting for our television for nearly a month now only to find out recently from their repair division under Pretoria Aplliance and TV. That the television repairing process was cancelled, after sending them proof that the television was indeed still under warranty in the form of a receipt from Macro numerous times, they eventually informed us after we contacted them that they are unable to repair the television.. and they would replace it... many weeks later they have still not changed the status on their system to replacement it is still only listed as cancelled. This has been an absolute nighmare with many phone calls made and all necessary documents sent through numerous times we are still without replacement. So just be informed if your buying a Samsung and it does happen to break under warrenty this is what your in for... unless ofcourse your a paying customer fed up trying have your tv repaired under warrenty then they are alot more helpfull.
