Refusing to repair my Screen
I took my phone to Samsung on 18/08/2015as my screen is damaged and they completed a job card as i informed them that my phone is still under warranty. they then forwarded the phone to cell clinic for repairs and now i received a quotation for R2130.00 stating that my warranty expired whislt my contract only ended 31/08/2015. i never claimed for any repairs during my warranty and now they refuse point blank without even trying to assist me. the job card states: Nb Please be very clear on completing a job card to avoid miscomunication. the waranty part on the job card was ticked and now they tell me the warranty expired and therefore if i refuse the quote i need to pay R250.00.
This is not fair towards clients as sumsung should immediately check for warranty and inform their clients before sending it off to realise the warranty expired.
According to cell clinic my warranty expired 01/08/2015 as they only received the phone 21/08/2015.
Can Sumsung please support with this matter as i never claimed through out my warranty and this is my first incident and now im being told to pay for repairs.
Please dont blame the staff at Samsung mall of the north, its your Processes thats faulty
