11 Jan 2022, 07:34Hi NM,
I was told that the issue is "software-related", and then was asked to just go pick up my device, use it for a week, and then report back if the device was still overheating.
So I don't see this case as being closed as the device overheating issue is still not resolved. In fact, with the little bit of heat that Cape Town had now the last few days, scrolling through Facebook or Instagram whiles it was on charge (using the provided Samsung charger and cable) was actually decreased the battery % and it was really super hot to the touch.
Should I now refer to legal action now seeing as Samsung is clearly not interested in fixing their own faulty model line? As there are plenty of users complaining on public forums as well as your own Samsung members forum about the overheating issues with the S20 FE line.
Thanks
Grant
