R5000 travel voucher Hoax

My husband and I have been clients of MTN for over 15 years, but when my husband’s contract came to its 2 year end, he saw a Summer Promotion ad with Vodacom in conjunction with Samsung for the new Samsung 8 that comes with a R5000 travel voucher. We had a wedding coming up and he wanted the Samsung 8 with the watch gear. He cancelled his MTN contract (we never had any problems with them) and he moved his number over to Vodacom. He signed the contract, got the phone all within the promotion time. We were told by the staff at Vodacom to wait for our token number that would be sms’ed to us. That would be the number we use when we want to book our tickets. The vouchers was valid for a year. He received the Token sms....and we will all set. The wedding is in May and would be using the travel voucher towards that. When I tried going into the website last week to book the tickets, the website was no longer available. I called the store that told me to call Vodacom, I called Vodacom who told me to call the store....eventually I found the number for the promotion company on the internet and I called them. 30 minutes later I sit with nothing...just a big idiot caught out in a VODACOM ****!!!! No where and never did anyone take the time to explain that the upgrade and the token meant absolutely ******ol as it was only half of the supposed voucher. I had to go onto a website - nothing to do with VODACOM and register to be able to get a voucher before the 6TH OF FEBRUARY 2018 !!!!!!!!!! because I did not guess this (as this info was not provided to me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) I therefore do not get my R5000.00 travel voucher. So whooopdy doooooooooo. Vodacom got a contract, and the promotion people suckered another client out of their "prize". Disgusting as no-one is now taking responsibility. Vodacom tells me to see the store (who says they were not aware that the voucher had to be obtained from the website by the 6th of February...the store tells me to call Vodacom and the people at the Made for Summer promotion call center tells me, sorry we cannot help you. **** **** ****. I have made several calls and wasted a lot of money on you people. I did a quick Google search and was utterly shocked to see on Hello Peter that I was not the only one to be ****med out of a supposed voucher. The store has tried getting hold of the agent who deals with promotions and so far has been unsuccessful as the person does not bother answering their phone calls or returning calls. I have already committed to being at the wedding and now I have to pay for the tickets myself.
