R23,938.10 taken by Samsung online store — no order, no refund after 35 days
On 19 February 2026, I purchased two air conditioners from the Samsung online store. The first transaction of R23,938.10 was charged to my Discovery account but failed on Samsung's end — no order number, no confirmation, no goods. I repurchased and received those items (not disputing that).
I have been trying to recover R23,938.10 since 19 February 2026. In that time: - 5 separate WhatsApp support sessions (Karabo, David, Kamo, and others), each starting from scratch - Repeatedly asked for an order number that doesn't exist because THEIR system failed - 3x "escalated urgently" — zero follow-through - Multiple emails to *** since 6 March - One call from Boitumelo on 9 March, then silence - Certified bank statement provided on demand - Still nothing. 35 days.
I will be filing with the NCC and CGSO Ombud if not resolved by 28 March 2026.

On 19 February 2026, Samsung's online store charged my Discovery account R23,938.10. Their system failed to generate an order. No order number, no confirmation, no goods delivered against that payment.
Samsung has now confirmed two things in writing:
1. They have my money
2. No order was ever processed
That is not a refund dispute. That is a company holding R23,938.10 that does not belong to them, with full knowledge, for 54 days.
In that time I have:
- Contacted WhatsApp support 5 times (different agent every time, starting from scratch every time)
- Emailed *** repeatedly since 6 March
- Provided a certified bank statement
- Been told my case was "escalated urgently" more times than I can count
Samsung, you have my money. You know you have my money. Give it back.
