R13000 phone missing in action for 3 days

I took my Samsung S8+ Galaxy into Samsung' Canal Walk shop on Monday morning 26/11 for a battery repair. It is almost 3 days later and I still have no date as to when the phone will be repaired! In fact I don't even have a job number! The extremely unhelpful girl (Olly) who took the phone from me seemingly has no contact with the repair centre and just says she doesn't know whether they have parts or not and how long it will take. What does she do, throw the phone in a box once she checked it in and forgets about it? I have made 7 phone calls to the branch, also spoke to the Branch manager Yolanda, who eventually very kindly gave me the number of the repair centre. How can I even ask for a progress update without a job number? And why should I have to phone THEIR repair centre. The branch/employee should be my one point of contact and get me an answer! How can you take my business critical R13 000 tool away from me and not even give me any idea of how long you will have it?!

So Samsung SA phone me... but 3 days later, I still do not have an ETA for the battery! Do they not have systems where they order parts which can give them dates for arrival? Or do they send courier ***eons to go an place the order and bring the batteries? I could've flown to Japan and back in this time to get the battery? Maybe I should go an give them computer training and help them to install an order and workflow system! And every person I speak to couldn't care less about the situation. I keep on getting the same nonchalant answer, we don't know when we will have the part and we promise we will phone you back (by Thursday and when I phoned them again, it was Friday) and still I have to date. Can someone perhaps get back to me after 6 days with an ETA?
