Price changes

My wife and I went to Samsung in Vodacomworld Midrand today to replace her ****** phone. Staff member 'Romeo' took us through all the products and we decided on the Z flip 7 FE 256 gb at his (repeatedly) quoted price of R15,500. When we decided to conclude the deal, we were informed that the price had gone up by R3,000 to R18,500. This is unacceptable behavior from the Samsung representative. Sure he is paid to quote correct values? He then informed us that his price was for a promotion which had ended. We were unaware of any promotions as he quoted today when we arrived. On the Samsung customer service app I requested assistance from Samsung management and that too fell on deaf ears. People be warned when you go to Samsung - they are not truthful.

Reviewer Update
I received a call from Samsung to inform me that they have no control over their dealers whatsoever. The dealers are allowed to act as they wish and Samsung will only involve themselves with product matters such as failure.
As a consumer this is important to know and include with all purchase considerations. Customer experience and service is of no importance to Samsung and they exonerate themselves from any activity between a Samsung dealer and user.
Sad but from their mouths.
Buyer beware.
