Poor service from Vodacom and Samsung
On 23 January 2018 I bought a Samsung Prime Plus cellphone from the Vodacom shop in Greenstone. Within a few weeks I kept getting messages on the phone to say that it was running out of storage space. When I went to the Vodacom shop they told me that it was a particular problem with the Samsung Prime Plus. They were obviously aware of it and should not have sold the phone at all. The technician deleted some of the apps on the phone to create storage space. Within a week I received the same messages about the lack of storage space. On the advice of another technician I bought a 16 gig memory card which he installed. Within a week the storage space on the memory card was almost used up. Vodacom was not prepared to do anything about it and said that I should go to Samsung. The manager at Samsung he said he couldn't do anything about it because I had bought the phone at Vodacom. The manager at Vodacom wasn't prepared to do anything about it because I should have brought the phone in within 6 days of my having bought it. The lack of space only became a problem after 6 days. Customers should be aware that the sales people are not always well informed about the products that they are selling or they're just not being honest about them. And clearly they will not get good service from Vodacom or Samsung.
