Poor Service

I bought a Samsung S4 mini Oct 2013, and it started giving me problems in 2015. So, in May 2015, I bought the S5. Last year around July, the three quarters of the screen started flickering non-stop randomly. I took it to Samsung Care Center (MM All Electronics) in Rivonia. After it was booked in for 2 days, they said they had fixed the problem. At the beginning of this month (January 2017), the problem resurfaced again, and now I had to take it back there again.

Now, what ****es me off with this is that, I have to spend my money and time to go there as there's no Samsung close to where I stay or where I work. Secondly, I have to be without a phone for more than a day while my phone is booked in. Thirdly, I was told that January 2017 is the last month of its warranty. Now this means that should it have the same problem again (which I feel it will have), I must pay for it from my pocket.

From what I'm seeing is that Samsung is making phones that lasts only for two years, which if that's true, it's pathetic. I like the brand, but I think I'm starting to lose hope. Maybe, just maybe my partner was right when she went to Apple.
