Pink line on LCD - warranty repair

I currently have a Samsung galaxy S6 edge which is at wefix canal walk, awaiting for a response from Samsung South Africa in order to confirm whether the repair will be covered under warranty.

The problem is a pink line on the screen which suddenly appeared without any physical damage being caused to the phone.

Samsung has delayed to respond to the quote from wefix. The quote at this stage has expired and I received a notification from the store that I need to collect the phone.

This is really bad customer service from Samsung.

Kagiso was the consultant that was assigned to my query at Samsung South Africa. The reference numbers for my queries are as follows: ********** 106 and ********** 526. Supporting proof was sent to Kagiso that the phone was initially booked in within the two year warranty period, however to date she has not provided me with a response whether it will covered under warranty.

I would like to suggest that Samsung finalise this matter as soon as possible and repair my phone under the two year warranty applicable to the phone as no physical damage was caused to the phone.

Furthermore, based on interaction with fellow users of similar Samsung models and a google search, the problem with the pink line on the LCD is a common problem with the phone.

I am currently out of the country and will only be available on email. From the 14th Jan 2019 I will be available telephonically.
