Piece of Junk

I purchased a Samsung TV in July 2014 from Makro Woodmead, only to find that this useless piece of machinery stopped working 18 months later. Their six month rule is ridiculous considering that a purchase of this nature should not stop working after such a short period of time especially since I do not watch TV every day (I can confirm that I have not been home for at least 8 months during this period), the TV was mounted against the wall so it could not have fallen and there are no kids at my house who may be able to fiddle with the controls.<br> <br> So when I lodged a complaint against these useless Samsung products to their customer centre, I expected a reply in line with my complaint not the stock standard, \We only provide exchanges for products that are six months old\". Why should a product of this nature break after such a short period? The only conclusion I can draw is that it is faulty manufacturing and that the price you pay is definitely not what you receive. DON'T BUY SAMSUNG PRODUCTS!! Rather save yourself time and money and purchase a TV that is cheaper which you expect to break after such a short period."
