Pathetic service from Samsung and Vodacom.

On the 2nd of October 2016 I took out a contract with Vodacom PMB, it was a Samsung A3, 2016. On the 3rd of October the phone became non - responsive and the screen was blank and refused to turn on.

Vodacom PMB advised I take the phone to Vodacom Pavillion as I reside in Durban. The phone was booked in for OBF. A week later I recieved the same phone back , I was advised that there was a problem with the software. Apparently a software upgrade was done. A few hours later the device was still defective ie. apps where opening on it's own and battery drained rapidly immediatly after being taken off charge. I then took it back to Vodacom. I was then advised that the software update done by Samsung SA was incompatible with the phone. I then took the phone directly to Samsung Pavillion on the 27th of October 2016 and they booked it in for an exchange as they achknowledged that the phone was defective. I was advised that the exchange would take two to three weeks. After two weeks I contacted Samsumg Nandi Drive and they picked up on Job Card No. 92352 which stated that the phone was repaired, given back to me and that I had taken it back to Samsung because it was still not working which was FALSE information. The phone was never booked in for repaires, it was booked for an exchange. To date I have still not recieved the phone. From date of purchase to date I have had the phone in my possession for under 24 hours in total. Samsung promised calls they did not return and when I call them I have been put on hold. I am fed up with having to contact them to no end. It has been 6 weeks and I still have no phone while I am paying for the contract (2 months). Samsung as a whole has been unhelpful and their customer service level is atrocious. I requested my contract to be cancelled to which Vodacom refused. I was told on the 8th of November that I would recieve a new phone by the 15th of November. Today I am being told that I must now wait until the 18th of November with no reason given. I am beyond frustrated with being given the run around and being inconvenienced. I need this resolved immediately. #DisconnectingTheFutureEverywhereYouLook

My contact No. ********** 892.
