No more Samsung for me...

Endless problems....

I bought a Samsung Ultra book in 2013 - NP530U4B but had tons of problems.

With in a year after getting the device the battery wouldn't charge and as a result it needed to be plugged in all the time for it to be used. After much haggling and contacting various places the Woodmead repair or service center of Samsung agreed to replace the battery, a few days later I got a call asking if I wanted to go ahead with the replacement of the battery at a cost of over R1000 despite the device being under warranty still. Eventually they agreed not to charge for the change.

New battery didnt give me 2 hours of power, but after the trauma of almost having to pay I didn't bother going back

After getting my ultrabook back I noticed that when opening and closing the screen there was a creaking noise at the joint. Over time a crack appeared on one of the back hinges, so I took it in thinking that it could just be clipped back but the technician at Dion wired looked at it and notified me that whoever put the back cover back had forced the ***** in and had damaged the back case. The ***** has cut into the plastic, so great service from Samsung Repair / Service centre!
