No feedback or help from Samsung
I booked my Samsung S5 in a month ago on the 6th of May. My phone had been exposed to water and somehow water managed to enter my phone. I had 1 ADH free fix remaining on my warranty. My argument to this matter now is that my phone was fully closed yet water still managed to enter into my phone. I was told by a technician at Samsung Service Centre in Durban that water may have entered through my volume and power button since it appears that the motherboard was affected. The strip still remains white and my screen was still operational. Now I'm being told that my phone is in fact water damaged and that my remaining ADH fix is to be used to fix my motherboard and i'll have to pay a further R 2500 to fix my screen as it is not damaged too. I refused to pay for this since the phone is water resistant up to 1 meter/30 minutes. More so, since handing my phone in to samsung repair centre in durban, I did not receive a loan phone to use, nor am I getting any help regarding this matter or complaint.
