NEW PURCHASE - REPORT FAULTY UNIT ONE DAY AFTER PURCHASE - SAMSUNG BOOKS REEPAIR

I purchased a Samsung 9kg Washing Machine from Samsung Clearwater on 9-Se****. I reported on 10-Se**** that the unit is faulty with the following problems:

(1) Quick Wash is not functional as detergents remain in the detergents dispenser which results in the wash cycle not washing. The Quick Wash Cycle therefore cannot be used.

(2) The machine rattles very loudly, and I was told it is close to silent due to the new built-in technicology

Since reporting the faulty unit, there was no follow up and feedback to me as to the steps taken to rectify the matter. I contacted the Samsung Clearwater daily since the purchase, to follow up and was given on numerous occassions empty promises as no action was taken.

On 26-Se****, Samsung Head Office now adivses me that a job has been booked for a technician to come out in order fo the unit to be repaired.

This is totally unacceptable as I reported the faulty unit within the 7 day from purchase period, i.e. the very next day after purchase. For this reason one and due to the unit being an out of box failure I expect the faulty unit to be replaced with a new operation unit.

I paid R6950.00 for this unit and my expectation was to have a fully operation, functional unit.

The service provided by this store has been of a very low standard and something drastic needs to be done to improve the level of service.
