NEVER AGAIN!

I bought a Samsung 49" FHD LED Smart TV from FNB. I have not had this Television for a year and it is already hanging and has spots on the screen. So next will be the most frustrating service I have had in a long time...almost as bad as Telkom, if not worse.

1) I phoned FNB and after some steps got my proof of purchase certificate. Was told to Samsung Service department...my hell started. 2) Phoned Samsung Service department and reported it, got a ref# and told the technician will phone me that day or tomorrow...never happened. 3) Phoned them 3days later of not receiving any phone calls to come and fix my Television. I was told that my call was put in a pool that was very very full and they will assign it to a pool that is not as full and the technician will phone me the next day...needless to say that they did not phone. 4) Phoned them again and they promised the tech will phone me that same day...again fooled. 5) This time I phoned Samsung Tracking department and asked to speak to a manager...Nadeem helped me and that same day a tech came out to my house and reported that it was fixed. I told them I will test myself when I got home. 6) I got home and found it was not fixed...still hanged after a whilst and still the spots could be seen. I phoned the technician and he wanted to replace the panel, but his manager asked for photos...how should I take a photo of a TV that hangs and spots on a curved TV? There are so many reflections, how to identify the spots? Never got a call from a manager called GERT from SSS as I was told. 7) I had to phone Nadeem again and he had to arrange with GERT for a technician to assist on Saturday as I work during the week and want them to see what I see, so I can show them the darn issue. It is now been 12 days later and it is still faulty and has still not been fixed.

All in all...this is pathetic on so many levels and it seems that service delivery in this country is DEAD!, none existent...and only a word. Samsung!!!...lets just leave it at that.
