My phone is still faulty
On the 4 August 2017 i took my phone to Samsung in somerset mall for repairs, it fell and my screen went blank, i was charged R837.56, when i went back to pay it i was told that the technician picked up other problems on my phone that were not clearly mentioned and was told i have to pay R2061.54 which i did on the 04 september. on the 12 october i was called and told my phone is ready, went to collect it and was asked to switch it on and my Lcd was back on. went home charged my phone and it said 100% when i took it out of the charger it said 1%, i then assumed maybe i need a new charger and i was using my original charger that came with my phone. went to buy a new charger but the problem continued, on the 14th of October i took it back to Samsung Somerset mall, spoke to a consultant Mdu who i notified that my phone switches on and off all the time it keeps saying battery full but when i take it out it says battery low, my home button is very stiff its not working and everytime i put my charger on i struggle a bit to insert it of which i am not suppose to be using force too insert a charger, the consultant said no he could see my phone was not properly closed and i notified him there is a colourful lining that occur when i am switching it on.He requested i take the phone back home , transfer information that i will need to another phone or laptop etc and bring it back for Re-repair which i did. on the 16 October i took my phone back to them for Re-repair, since then i have not yet received my phone nor positive feedback about it. i have called them numerous times went personally to them and every time i was told they busy with it. On the 2nd week of November i went there again met with a consultant named Tinashe i requested for my phone he told me he could find nothing on the system about my phone being booked and that the people that took my phone are no longer there they are in canal walk, so i told him i did not take my Phone to canal walk i gave it in here and i need my phone back fixed or not with my money, gave him the papers that i have payed in fully for my phone etc and that i have been waiting long for it , i have been in and out of your doors since August. He then tried to calm me down and requested if i could speak to a lady named Lisa at Smartcare over the phone( which was not suppose to be my duty) never the less i did and she assured me to take the matter forward and get back to me at the end of the week. She did call once when i was about to answer my phone they put down i immediately phoned them back at Smartcare and they confirmed they will put me through Lisa i waited and waited and boom phone down on my ear. I then phoned Samsung in somerset spoke to Tinashe he said he will call Lisa back and get back to me but guess what i waited and waited for him to get back to me since, i had to keep phoning him for feedback from Smartcare or what was happening with my phone TILL TODAY I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY PHONE NOR POSITIVE FEEDBACK ABOUT IT. February 2018 I received my phone, 4 days later I realised when I charge The phone itvsays 100% but when I take it off it says 0%, I then phoned Samsung in Somerset mall cape town and they suggested I take it straight to Canal walk where ill have technician fixing it in my presence which I did, I met upva consultant named Chad who took my phone in and did not give job number, a week after he phoned me and said my phone is ready, so went to pick it up when I inserted my sim card I realised the speaker wasn't working properly, so I had to take it back which I did, when I got there was told the technician that fixed my phone did not log anything on the system so I need to pay in order for them to take my in for assessment, I then told them my phone is under re repairs why am I paying , I have already payed R2000+ for my phone to be repaired. He argued with me and I ended up paying again, 3months down the line Samsung phones me and said they couldn't locate my phone and I needed to go to the police station to get an affidavit that says I have payed for my phone and they said they will be giving a new phone etc which I did, 2 weeks after their call they phoned again saying they have located my phone in Jhb and technicians are busy with it. a month later which is yester they delivered my phone at my work place in Rondebosch and guess what the screen is not sensing I can't slide my phone at all. I am soo disappointed at Samsung that they have kept my phone so long charged me for re repairs and still it comes back faulty.
