Money being made in all the corners as the honest consumers keep falling into traps regardles.

I made a purchase from Telkom mobile on the 19th of may for a Samsung A50. The phone just died had no responds at all no light no vibrating nothing not even when I had put it in charge nothing. I called around thinking that i should claim on warrenty seeing I didn't even use the phone for 3 months upon purchase. I contacted Samsung South Africa and they requested I take the device to a store close to where i worked which was called Some Camera solutions repair center, I called them and explain they where willing to help I asked if I would be charged any admin fees they said yes. I refused taking my phone as I felt y should I pay for something I payed for just 2 months ago. I contacted Samsung again and explained that I refuse to pay any amount as I would be taking it and collecting as I am claiming warrenty. They Requested I take it to Dions Wired at Cresta mall. I called again and asked if I bring my phone would I have to pay any excess they said no I went there only to be told that there was no Samsung Technician on site he just left for lunch couldn't wait as I went out during my lunch. Went back there after calling and asking if he would be there again upon arrival nothing I got so fed up and decided to take my device back to where I purchased it. Got to South Gate Telkom spoke to one of there guys on the counter. specifically asked if I would be charged if my phone gets sent to Samsung for repairs and I was told no I asked how long it would take was told 7 working days fine phone was assessed and agreed that it was under warrenty. They guy had put it in charge and agreed that there was no current going in the phone that it was dead. We did however discover at that point that there was a crack on the bottom of the glass but the glass was not. Happy left my phone and waited for the call to collect. On the 20th August I received SMS from a company stating Dear TAMLYNE WINNAAR your device has been deemed out of warranty and has been quoted for R1 889,99incl VAT. Payment to Bradian Logistics, FNB, Account No: ***,Ref No:TRJ095058.Quote Valid for 7 Days. A consultant will be in contact shortly. Telkom Mobile. The consultant calls me and I asked how is this possible as I sent my device to Telkom but getting a payment reques from I don't know who the hell with the same tracking number I was given by telkom at first I thought I'm being ****med. Only to back track and find out this has been happening my device hac been shipped off to SSS cellular. I requested a report card or job card stating what was wrong. They sent me pictures and said screen cracked. I requested a job card for the repair and I received a formal letter from sss cellular (no job card) just stating That the unit has been assessed By there Technichian Due to the screen being cracked there is no warranty. This morning 27th August 2019 I receive a call again from Braidian logistics Solutions and I tell the consultant that i cant afford to fix it's just to much could she send it back I will have to save up to have it repaired than boom she sends me a SMS Dear TAMLYNE WINNAAR your device quote has been rejected, and is awaiting a payment of R189,75, assessment fee.Payment to Bradian Logistics, FNB,***,Ref No:TRJ095058. Telkom Mobile. She tells me within 30 days of no payment telkom will sell my device to make up for there loss. It's sad I cant afford to just pop out money as I am a single working parent of four kids. I feel as if I am at gun point I lost hope in Samsung and Telkom these are the type of Services we have to deal with it's never direct there is always a 3rd party involved so that the big cats (Telkom and Samsung) don't get the blows but what Is sad about this is how much South African Consumers i being manipulated into making purchases they cant afford and when it breaks regardles how they have lost a sum of money that could have been put to better use. These companies makes millions from these type of opperations when we the hard working Tax payers get fed to the dog's irrigardless how we tend to try we always fail this type of systems in my eyes is a crime. I can ansure that this phone has not been quoted properly it has just been looked at wasnt put in the charge nor did the Technician attempt to take a USB and put it into a pc to see if there is any responds so I was literally going to pay 1800 for something they still wouldn't have be able to repair. I cant afford the 1800 because I cant they will make me pay the 180 like it or not you guys win I will pay it. Warrenty garrentee all those special documents in the beautiful box these companies give u they will find a way for you to pay becarful out there.
