I WANT MY PHONE!

In February 2013, I purchased a Samsung Galaxy S3 on a TopUp315 contract from the Vodacom 4U store in Clearwater mall.

In October 2014, the phone randomly broke and stopped working. On Saturday the 18th of October 204, the phone was handed in to the Samsung Service Centre at the Constantia Office Park. It was said that after two weeks, the phone would be fixed. Two weeks passed and I went to collect the phone and was told that it can't be fixed because it was a British phone. I then went to Vodacom Clearwater to tell them what had happened at samsung and they said they would try to sort the problem out.
Samsung quoted me an amount of R2500 to have the phone fixed because the warranty didn't cover international phones. After 5 months, it was established that the phone is actually South African and I have been quoted R4000 by Vodacom to have it fixed which I refuse to pay because it took so long to get a response only to find out that the phone is indeed South African. Now, Ronel Kruger at Vodacom states that the problem is with Samsung and not Vodacom. I am not concerned with the details, I just want my phone or compensation thereof.
