Have You SUNG the SAMe song with MM All Electronics

Have you SUNG the SAMe song?

Today we called Samsung Customer Care MM All Electronics three times to follow up on the call that Kevin the Operations Manager promised to return before the end of business on Friday. Today each time I called I was told that Kevin was on another line and would call back and finally that he was not picking up.

Why are we so desperate to contact him? We took my SAMSUNG Note 3 into Samsung Customer Care MM All Electronics in the Wedge Shopping Centre, because it was damaged while I was travelling. The obvious damage was a broken screen. They took it for assessment and quoted us R3300.00 for the repair. We gave the go ahead for the repair. It is the responsibility of the service provider to assess the problem and quote on the complete repair and we trusted that they would have done this.

We collected the mobile and to my dismay the “repaired” mobile did not recognised my sim. I Googled to try and find a solution and none of the various suggestions worked. So back into the traffic we went and handed it back. We heard nothing and when we followed up at first they could not find the mobile then eventually came back to us to say that we could collect it on the coming Friday afternoon.

On Friday afternoon back into the traffic for an hour one way only to find after the usual ridiculous wait, that once again they had misplaced the mobile but worse that they had now “discovered” that the motherboard needed to be replaced and it was in fact not ready for collection.

The attitude we received from this service provider was condescending, disdainful, lack of care and off-handed.

We received an email with a price for the “new” repair, not even an official quote which we had to request.

So now we are between a rock and a hard place. We have already paid R3300 to repair a mobile that will now cost an additional R3200. Had we been informed upfront that the repair would cost R6500.00 we would have purchased a new mobile! They messed up and we are paying for it in weeks of waiting, petrol travelling to and fro, repair costs and frustration.

So last Friday we called to speak to the “person in charge” as this really is unacceptable. After sharing my complaint with Kevin, the Operations Manager he assured me that he would look into the matter and find out “what went wrong” and get back to me before the close of business. I still have not heard from him or anyone else from Samsung Customer Care MM All Electronics.

So don’t call me on my mobile because they still have it!!
