Good & Bad on TV's

Good:-

Honouring a warranty that was about 2.5 weeks out of date

By & large excellent interpersonal reaction except for two people. The GOOD were Junior, Portia, Raphella (I think) & Azola.

Going out of their way to assist in getting some resolution to my problem

Bad:

Promising to return calls

Promising to call on a certain day

Answering emails

My TV, a 51" Plasma went on the blink when just 2.5 weeks out of warranty/gaurantee, Conversations with Samsung TV technicians placed the problem with the y-main. Samsung do not have any of these in stock & on the basis of that & the short over run on the warranty/gaurantee period they agreed to replace the TV. As they no longer manufacture plasma TV's they offered a 50" smart LED with the warranty period renewed to the delivery date of the new TV & a cash input from myself. I felt that, for a company the size of Samsung to charge full value on the new system was a bit rich & they agreed to reduce the price. Apart from a bit of a glitch with the courier company the new TV arrived after about 4 - 5 weeks of the the old one breaking. I now have a (fairly)new LED TV although without the full compliment of a stand & renewed efforts to contact Samsung have failed. Apart from that I am a happy chappy!

Llew
