Global player accepts no foreign visa
This international business does not accept any Visa card that is not South African. Despite being a global player, visa from other countries do not work when purchasing online. While buying and wanting to pay this is not indicated anywhere. After retrying again and again, because the system says it’s a temporary problem, I spend 20 minutes on the support line. First I was told to empty and refill the basket, then go through the complete process again. Only then they discovered that oops we don’t take visa from other countries. What a joke!

27 Mar 2023, 15:10What do people do who just moved here and want appliances before they get a South African bank account? Companies refusing international visa cards normally only allow eft when paying online. SAMSUNG South Africa offers the normal visa link with no warning that only national banks are accepted. This is annoying and time consuming. Even the superette around the corner accepts international payment.
