Galaxy S7 no parts available

My Galaxy S7 glass screen cracked a month ago. The cracked was minimal and i could still use the phone. On Saturday 22 July 2017 I decided to take it into Samsung Tygervalley (Cape Town) to get my free screen replacement. The smart care consultant advise me that it will at least take 2 to 3days for repairs before my phone can be returned to me. I told the consultant that would return on Monday, because i still want to use the phone over the weekend for work and other transactions. The consultant advise me to bring the phone early on (24/7) Monday morning if i want the phone returned to me by Wednesday. So i did. By Wed 26/7 i have heard nothing from the consultant so i decided to go back to Samsung Tygervalley to enquire. They explained to me, nothing has been done on the phone as the technician are waiting on parts to be delivered which they expecting 26/7. The next day my car broke down and on 28/7 my dog got ****ed in a car accident . You see samsung, its not been a very good week for me.If I knew I would just have to stand back and wait my turn, I would have kept the phone until they received those parts.

It is 04/08/2017 and no parts for the phone as been recieved. I am currently using an old Galaxy S3 which are given me the days of my life because its so old, the battery drains too quickly and i cant fit the sim of the Galaxy S7 into the S3. Everything from my work emails to my banking profiles are all on this sim and i am stuck without it. I can go to my mobile service provider for a sim swop, but i will have to pay for that. Will samsung refund this costs to me? Some of my business contacts are on that phone and not on the sim card. I am greatly inconvenienced by this.

Surely a big company like samsung would have contingency plans in place to make sure their branches not running out of parts to deliver a great service. However, i find it very unlikely that customer service is on the top of Samsungs priorities.

Yours Truly

Claude Arendse
