Free TV *****!

Dear Reader,

I purchased a Galaxy Note 20 5G from Vodacom Watercrest on the 26th September 2020, the advert from Vodacom promoted that I would receive a free 32" TV after a successful purchase of the device. After receiving my Galaxy Note 20 on the 26th of September 2020, I requested from Vodacom when I would get my TV, Vodacom stated that this offer is a special from Samsung and not directly from Vodacom. Vodacom guided me to claim my TV on your Samsung Members app on the same day i received my device (26th of September 2020), it stated that I will get confirmation on SMS on a successful claim, 30 days later, still no confirmation, even after spending hours to your call center (***), which cost me an arm and a leg in cellular airtime... The agents in the call center all sound like robots "I have escalated this and someone will be in contact with you" and nobody ever gets back to me with an answer, with the latest promise from the call center on 23rd of October 2020, all calls to the call center were recorded, I informed the agents of this and still received the same promise. The 2nd to last agent was extremely rude to me, when I told him I wanted to speak to a manager because he is making the same promises, he insured me with a strict tone that I need to trust him as he is now dealing with my issue! I got Vodacom involved at this point and Bonga from Watercrest Vodacom (where i purchased the device) told me the agents told him i don't have a TV license and that's why I won't receive my TV claim! (*****!) I further sent all proof of my TV license as requested from Bonga at Vodacom to ***, including my latest payment confirmation, license no, etc. to confirm I do pay for a TV license! The saddest part is an external company that sells your product has been more helpful! This is my final attempt to get Samsung to contact me with a resolution before I take this ***** case further, with my gathered evidence.

Kind Regards Hugh Robbie
