FORCED TO EXCEPT DEFECTIVE UNIT BECAUSE IT’S AN UPGRADE!!!
I'm a Samsung die heart fan, however I'm not happy with the raw deal I've been served. I use to a prominent owner of Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and late November 2020 it was booked in and after several repairs that ultimately destroyed it. An exchange request was made on my behalf by Mr. Thabo Khati and the first request was declined and the second one was approved; on my warranty I was left with six months.
Frustration kicked in because I was losing business, I had to fight for them to issue the unit and to my surprise I was upgraded to the Note 20 Ultra. Upon collection the store manager told me to assess the device and they be problems I mustn't hesitate to bring it back.
In less than a week I realized that it had bad battery life, overheating, no network, left side of the screen is not responsive when graphic designing, fingerprint scanner, uncontrollablebugs, freezing; which made me question them if they sure if this unit really has 12 gig ram. Lastly important documents disappearing and most times is shut down and takes long to reboot.
Through the help Mr Shawn Grobler the unit was booked in three times and till this day problems still remain what hurts the most is that I was given a faulty unit and because it was an upgrade I forced to except it.
Does Samsung have like faulty unit ready to ship out to people that they make exchanges for, or was it purely bad luck??? My warranty is no-one and I'm stuck with a unit that takes beautiful photos.
Everyone speaks highly about this phone however, to me its a total opposite. I think maybe it's time that I share my experience with the world concerning this unit!
CPA clearly states that a consumer can return the defective goods to the supplier at the supplier's risk and expense if the defective goods fail to satisfy the requirements and standards contemplated in Section 55 of the CPA.
And now Samsung has adopted a "sorry for you" attitude, Relying on technicalities "OUT OF WARRANTY!" They Conveniently forgot that their subordinates and themselves sabotaged me, dragging their feet to accelerate my warranty expiry, and because I was UPGRADED, I must accept the defective unit???
According to section 56 of the consumer act, I have a right to demand quality service "imp**** warranty of quality" as a consumer, however at Samsung it's their way or the high way.
They made it seem like they doing me a favor whilst I pain for the Note 9 that they gladly destroyed!!!
And guess what I just bought my son a Galaxy tab, and I'm not why after what you guys put me through...
