Faulty Samsung s4 water and dust resistant -really

in October 2015 i bought a s4 active from incredible connection the phone is billed as water resistant and dust proof .On the 28th December 2015 the phone refused to switch on i returned to cape in Jan and immediately returned the phone to the store and was informed about a week later that it was water damaged .i then contacted Samsung and was instructed to take the phone to the smartcare centre (was promised feedback within the same week ) 3 weeks later they come back with the same problem <br> 1. There is no sign of water or damage to the phone anywhere on it. How can a phone be advertised as waterproof but then have water damage? No, do not tell me about pockets and ports which have to be closed. THE PHONE IS NOT WATERPROOF PERIOD!!!!! Do not advertise it as such.<br> 2. The phone is supposed to be water resistant or is that just gimmick from Samsung to sell phones?<br> 3. The phone was used as a demo, surely any wear and tear on the handset could have been caused by patrons handling and touching the phone.<br> 4.
