Fault Samsung Tablet Device - Since Day 1

I purchased a Samsung device via FNB Smart devices that has been problematic since I started using the device. The operating system has been really slow from day one. Furthermore, the device recently refused to charge for no apparent reason. Their service providers have informed me that it could be damage to the charging port cause by liquid. I find this really strange because I have never goo ten this phone wet. How on earth can moist or liquid could firstly settle on a piece of hardware inside a phone for such a long time to cause that degree of corrosion. It can certainly not be body sweat as you suggested because the device is too large and doesn't fit into my pocket. Mist? - how on earth can it be misty for such a long time to cause that degree of corrosion inside a phone? It's odd that any form of liquid has only settled in one area of the phone for such a long time only affecting the functioning of the charging. It is common sense if a electronic device comes into contact with any water multiple problems will be experienced.The problem is with the quality of the actual material used by Samsung. It seems to be a common problem with Samsung devices. Please help!
