False advertising by Samsung
Given that I am not the only one having this experience, I can definitely say that Samsung used False advertising tactics in their sales of the Note 20. I ordered my Note 20 on 7 August through Telkom Mobile. Once I received my phone I contacted Telkom to find out about the voucher - as I expected the voucher code to be with the phone and then you would activate it with your invoice. However, there was nothing. Telkom (don't even bother trying to phone them! 20 minutes for nothing). However, turns out it is Samsung. I use the Samsung Member chat function to query after trying to submit for the voucher on the app - an agent responds to me that the promotion ended on 23 August - So I told her that I pre-ordered my phone on 7 August and have my correspondence from then. The money was debited off my account by Telkom on the 9th of August. Then I hear nothing back and it says "the chat has been ended by user" - How did I end the chat when I got no response! This is very disappointing of Samsung! Surely false advertising is not permitted by the consumer boards? I am very upset ... other people should know to not fall for these misleading stunts from big name brand companies that are lying to us poor consumers!
