Failure to repair Samsung U Flex Headsets
I bought a Samsung S9 phone in 2018 through Vodacom. As part of the Samsung promotion then for the phone, we were given U Flex headphones by Samsung, when registering for the Samsung Rewards programme.
Too fast track my issue, my headphones are damaged and need to be repaired. I have been to over 4 Samsung customer service centers, and none of them have been able to assist me. I am not asking Samsung to repair my headsets for free, all I need is the correct centre to assist.
The last centre I went too was the one at the FNB Bank City, they told me that they could not assist me as they did not have the value of the Headsets, their own headsets. The headsets were given for free by Samsung as a promotion, and yet they asking me for proof of purchase to have them repaired.
Inhave spent so much money making calls to Samsung for assistance, and even more money spent on petrol driving to all these service centers, and yet to date my headsets are still not repaired.
If Samsung is not able to assist with repairing a product of their own which was manufactured 2 years ago, then they must advise accordingly so that I throw the headsets away.
It is very concerning that Samsung will attract us to purchase their mobile devices by offering us their own gadgets for free and yet when we need to repair the same gadgets they cant help us.Even recently their had a similar promotion whereby they were offering ear pods. Are they going to give these customers a run around as well in the next 2 years?????
Well I suppose only time will tell, because 2 years later from being gifted with their then amazing U Flex headphones,I am now stuck with headphones that they cant repair.
I am genuinely frustrated and infuriated by the poor service from Samsung, the amount of time and money lost just to repair a pair of headsets, its truly disappointing that a giant brand such as Samsung can not resolve such a minor issue.
