Extra charges

I dropped my phone from very low hight then Samsung wanted to charge me over R2000 to repair so I declined as a new one cost R1800. To collect my broken phone they charged me R150 that I was not aware of before handing it in. The new phone I bought from Game Gateway was faulty the touch screen isn't responding properly so I eventually took it back to Game but they said I passed the 7day return by one day. For them to to give me new phone they have to send it to samsung to be checked so I can get new one takes and 7working days so I asked if I can take it myself which they said yes as long as I bring the letter from samsung saying whats wrong with it so I can get new phone. Samsung now wants to charge me another R170 to assess it after I just paid R150 to get my broken phone back. I just keep paying samsung and I keep ending up with a phone that doesn't work that is faulty. I didn't pay the R170 as i think that is ******* as the brand new phone is faulty from the day of purchase. Serms like I should of stayed with iphone.
