Dud tumbledryer and shocking service
I bought a new tumble dryer on the 4th of December. On the 18th of December I had an error and requested a call out which happened about the 22nd of Dec. I went away for the first two weeks of Jan and when I returned on the 14th of Jan, the drum was not rotating. I requested a service call out online and phoned a week later when I had heard nothing. I had to call again on the 28th of Jan and a technician from a Samsung service agent came out on the 29th of Jan. He opened the machine and told us that the bushes needed to be replaced as they were worn out. He left saying that he would report it in and I would be contacted.
Eventually on the 4th of Feb, a Samsung technician came out and said that everything was fine except for one loose part. My helper then insisted that he try it out and it was making a clunking sound. So he fixed it.
3 days later, the clunking sound is back. So once again I have asked for a callout. I was told that a Samsung technician will be out to fix it in due time.
How do I know who to believe? Are the bushes old? Are Samsung covering themsleves.
I will say that this was a top of the range R 11 000 tumble dryer.
I am not happy
