DONT buy Samsung TVs!! TV stated melting by itself! Could have caught fire..

So I have a Samsung TV about 6 years old. Last week the screen started melting on the left bottom corner. My wife called the insurer, who sent a technician immediatly, he sent a report the next day and stated that he never saw this in his 30 years as a TV technician, and ruled out any other external factors such as a lightning surge etc... He said NOT to switch it on as it could catch a fire! I contacted Samsung South Africa, i have never in my life seen such uselesness, its more than a week now and 5 phonecalls later, only to get phoned by a an independant technician I have to pay R500 for them to come out!! I phoned Samsung today again and had to explain the whole storie AGAIN to two people.... This is serious!!!! The TV could have burned my house down, my wife and kids were alone at the house, with my wife working alone in her room... I WILL take this public if I dont get a response from Samsung!
