Don't buy a Samsung TV if you expect a warrenty
My Samsung TV keeps turning itself off and is still under warranty. I checked the website for the process to follow and was directed to a list of service centers in my area that i should contact. The first one on the list no longer exists. I got hold of the second one and was promised a call back to make arrangements. I missed that call, and my subsequent attempts to get hold of them just result in me leaving a message and them not calling back. I emailed Samsung directly for them to assist me, but they haven't bothered getting back to me either. I do not recommend a Samsung TV as a smart way to spend R17 000!
