DO NOT PURCHASE SAMSUNG PRODUCTS AS THEY BREAK AND CANT BE REPAIRED

We had purchased a TV in 2013. This was a Samsung 46 inch which was not an entry level TV and actually cost a fair amount of money. Subsequently about a month ago the TV would not turn on. It was identified that the LED back light was not functioning. After sending this for repair at a Samsung service center it was noted that this could not be repair. We subsequently call Samsung South Africa as to enquire as to repairing the TV. they have indicated that this could not be repair as there is no parts

so basically Samsung are selling products that do not last more than 5 years and you will need to repurchase a new TV. we have a Sony TV that is nearly 10 years old and this has not been repaired. Therefore Samsung clearly have inferior products and do not wish to repair them. Also our Samsung Hi-Fi can also not be repaired as the part cant be source

Therefore people should not be purchasing Samsung products and will no longer be purchasing anything from Samsung as their products are of an inferior quality and you need to just spend money after 5 years, we will purchase a brand from another manufacture. this is to inform people not to purchase any products to avoid disappointment and resulting in having to pay double for something
