Do not ever take your phone to Samsung MM Electronics for repairs

I had some damage to my phone and i took it to Samsung for repairs. I was told they might need to replace the front glass and i should take it to MM electronics in Rivonia Road, Sandton. I will get it back same day, they are the biggest repair place for Samsung. Upon arriving there, i realised i won't get my phone back same day, they don't actually keep parts, they have to order it when you approve the repairs. Ok i thought.

Then as i am waiting, i read this disclaimer saying "if any other parts of your phone get damaged during the repair process, you will have to replace them out of warranty at your own cost". Then i thought, i how can i bring my phone for repairs when only the screen is damaged, then you tell me if you happen to break the back glass, mother board or any other part of the phone during the repair, i must pay for the repairs myself or i lose the warranty on my phone.

This MM Electronics is running a ****, because sure enough my little broken screen problem became a R8 000 problem to fix. They managed to break my back glass and mother board, then they sent me a quotation to repair: (1) the front screen, (2) the mother board and (3) the back screen. Basically the entire phone - for R8k, i might as well buy a brand new phone - and they know it.

How can you trust a company to take care of your device, then they break it on purpose - demand you fix it or lose your warranty. Plus they charge you for the quotation - ****************.

Next time a have a broken screen, i will be better off using any un-accredited repair shop, because I can't trust Samsung accredited services - clearly.
