Dishonest Samsung

I have Samsung Galaxy A30s which is a contract phone with Telkom, the phone is a few months old and stopped working. I took it back to Telkom who sent it off under warranty, the repair centre contacted me telling the phone has liquid damage but the phone has NEVER been wet. But they're not interested in hearing that or getting a second opinion. They now want me to pay R189 odd just to get my phone back or R2068 to repair it. This is BS as the phone has never gotten wet! I don't see myself ever buying another Samsung phone if this is the kind of excuses I'm getting so as to not honour their warranty.
