Disgusting Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 assessment service

On Friday the 2nd of September 2016, I took my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 to a Samsung store on the Cnr of Newton Street and Cape Road, Port Elizabeth. I requested for the assessment of my tablet's sim card slot and had to pay a fee of a R100 for the service. Take note I gave in my tablet in perfect working condition with the ONLY problem being that the tablet did not register the sim at all. They told me they'll contact me the following day with an answer to the problem. This did not happen, as I had to call them on Monday the 12th of September 2016 to ask for an answer to the problem. They could not even assist me at that moment as they claimed to have a problem with their computer system and said they'll get back to me later that morning. Later that afternoon I had to, once again, get back to them for an answer. After which they told me that they found the problem and are awaiting an estimate to fix the problem from the cost department. They also said that the cost department would get back to me in a while. The next morning, Tuesday the 13th of September 2016, I had to call them once again after failing to get back to me. I was told that they could not fix my tablet's sim card problem anymore as they could not find a new motherboard as needed. I told them I'll come and fetch it that afternoon. I sent my son to fetch the tablet for me from the store as I was at work at the moment. He was helped immediately, but had to sit and wait for them to find my tablet in their store room which was about 30-40 minutes long. When I got home and he gave me the tablet, we realised that the tablet did not want to switch on at all and after trying to charge it, we still had the same problem. The next morning, Wednesday the 14th of September, my husband phoned to inform them about this problem. They told him that it is not their problem and after a long argument they agreed to sent someone out the next morning to fetch my tablet for repairs. My husband took the tablet to them that same day instead as he was going that way. Their TTS Department phoned me later that afternoon telling me that they suspected that the tablet's motherboard crashed as they opened it when they were inspecting it. Take not that they never warned me that this could happen or any warning at all. I told them this and they said that they can give me a 2nd hand tablet for a R1000 or a 2nd hand motherboard for R550. I told them that this will not suffice as I wasn't planning on spending that much initially and that they broke my perfectly working tablet (except for the sim card slot) and have to fix it. The lady said that they'll get back to me about this situation; today it's precisely a week later (Wednesday the 21st of September 2016) and I haven't heard anything so far.

To top it of, I gave in my tablet without any scratches and got it back with some scratches. Although they aren't severe, it still shows the mishandling of products.
