Disappointed loyal Samsung Customer

I use a Samsung S7, Samsung Note 3 and a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. For each of these devices I bought genuine Samsung Evo memory cards to use in my Samsung devices. Recently all three my memory cards (2× 64 and 1x 32) packed up and I lost all my pictures on my phones. Seeing as there is a warranty of 10 years on the cards I thought i could easily have them exchanged. Not the case. I can't remember where I bought the cards and even if I had the slips they wouldn't be legible anyway. After visiting the Samsung shop and phoning Samsung South Africa I am told if I can't produce proof of payment they cannot help me? The cards have serial numbers but they are unwilling to assist in honouring their warranty. It's unthinkable that yhey can't or won't help you if you don't have a piece of paper in this digital age????
