Disappointed

So - in June 2025 (less than 1 year ago) short of 1 month - I switched over from iPhone to a Samsung A26. Yes, now I know this is a budget phone, but I gave it a chance. Paying for every single thing on the iPhone was a big reasoning. I paid cash. Fast forward to 12 May 2026, I am having issues on issues on issues.

I charged my phone on Monday, 11th May, prior to heading to bed. Just for an hour or so. When I woke up the battery was low again (it drains so fast - using it or not. And bear in mind power saving is on too). So woke up, put it on charge and WARNING WARNING WARNING MOISTURE. Weird, because all I did was sleep. Anyway I thought okay - I stay near the coast so maybe somehow the little bit of moisture triggered this useless phone. I let it air dry, used some cold air, cleaned out the port. Just checked all round. Overnight the whole schlep. Low and behold, still the moisture error. Eventually the next evening, it decides okay Ill charge a little again. It charges. THEN when I disconnected it - ANOTHER ERROR. This time - "Auxi****y USB not supported". Now I have no idea what that is - but nothing was even plugged in. I left it. Until almost dead again (which isnt long, because well - it is a cheap poorly made phone). I try charging again 48 hours LATER - nope MOISTURE MOISTURE MOISTURE. I assume the charging port is in its chops. Which is wild because I only use it for work mainly, its in a cover, I use the orignal charger, Im not taking baths with the thing. Yet here I am. Halway to phoneless.

Moral of the story. Dont swop your apple. ever. pay for the space, pay for the service, pay for the quality.

And never EVER buy a Sanmsung A anything.
