Dangerous Watch
I recently purchased a Samsung Galaxy watch 5 Pro. I purchased this watch on advice from my Cardiologist to monitor my ECG, Blood pressure etc. To my utter dismay and surprise I found that this Watch was disabling my Pacemaker due to strong magnets on the strap clasp! I cannot use this watch as it puts my life at risk.

21 Jul 2025, 11:02This morning at 09:22 I received a call from a Samsung representative who wanted to know what my complaint was all about... I explained in detail and impressed upon her the urgency of the matter and my Health concerns.. She said that she would get back to me with a solution.
She then called me again at10;46 to tell me that there is no non magnetic strap for a Samsung watch and there was no solution to my problem.
Although Samsung response has been prompt their service has been worse than sub standard up to now.

Although Samsung response has been prompt their service has been worse than sub standard up to now.
- The expensive watch sold to me cannot be used by me.
- The do not respond appropriately to severe Health and safety risks
- There has been little to no effort by Samsung staff to actually solve this problem
- I could not as yet manage to speak to a Supervisor

21 Jul 2025, 12:55io have now spoken to a Manager at Samsung who also did not know that certain of their watches are equipped with non magnetic buckles. The Manager told me that she would investigate further and that if she could find such a watch strait would be for my account... the Manager showed no concern for the Customer health and safety???
