Confused and disappointed!

I bought a top loader machine last year, and for some reason it refuses to switch on. I sent an email about this matter to the company I purchased it from, and fortunately the "technicians" came to assess it. Took them a good amount of time inspecting the machine, and came back with a conclusion that the machine was actually ruined by ****roache infestation. Beyond confused. Number 1 that's a samsung brand, and it's known for it's quality cer*****y all around the world, unless people who have samsung brands are just making things up. Number 2, I'm clueless when it comes to the technicalities of how certain things function, but even I know that a ****roache could not possibly ruin a machine. Manier people have machines in their own homes and many homes are ****roach infested, and I don't remember anyone from anywhere having lodged a complaints about ****roaches ruining anything of theirs, appliances wise. I honestly refuse to believe that the machine's malfunction has anything to do with the ****roach infestation. Number 3, for a brand so big and renowned for it's stability and the likes, didn't any of the builders think about inventing and installing something that'll ensure that mere ****roaches don't destruct the utility of a machine, since it is a home based machine to be used inside homes that are likely to have ****roach infestation? And now I'm compelled to pay R2600 to have my machine fixed even when it's still under warranty/guarantee? This is kind of disappointing. Anyway I just thought I should let anyone know that maybe other brands like LG are likely to function better in ****roach infested homes, which unfortunately in this country of ours, most homes are. And I'm honestly convinced that this has more to do with me paying for the service, than having my machine fixed under warranty/guarantee
