Charged for a phone that has a warranty

I upgraded my contract in march or april and had taken a samsung A5, the phone has always been in a protective flip cover and has never been dropped or exposed to any form of damage since i have the phone. a few weeks ago my phone was working fine, i put my phone in my pocket and and then took it out 2 minutes later only to find half the LCD is black, i called in service provider who advised to take it to samsung, the next morning the entire LCD was black. i handed the phone in to samsung, the customer services consultant had a look at the phone and saw no physical damaged, i asked if the repairs will be covered by the warranty,he said yes, a few days later i am advised that it will cost me 1300. today i went to pick up my phone only to find that it is on safe mode and my side button has been damaged, i took time off from work to fetch a repaired phone i couldnt use. i also asked samsung for a loan phone to use as i use my phone for business, they couldnt provided me with one so i bought a phone, and lucky i did so. now i have to wait once again and take time off again and still pay the cost for a phone on warranty and for bad service and wasting my time. my phone is like new.
