Cable too short
Hi there, when I got my S6 Edge some years ago the charging cable was 1,15 m long. I considered that too short by about 30 cm. My wall plug is about 30 cm above floor and my plug bank cable is just short of two feet (that is also too short, take note Ellies), so it sits on the floor. Now, about three weeks ago i received a new phone and the cable is now just over 80 cm. That is ridiculous, now you can't use your phone while charging.

27 May 2021, 19:53Dear Samsung, someone called me from your 'Customer care' department (it should be called 'customer non-care department') and told me that you, Samsung, always tell customers to check the goods before purchase. First, that's a lie. Nobody EVER told me to check anything (I've been using Samsung phones since S2 came out, about 10 years, or so). Second, you cannot help. I wonder if you would dare to answer like that in USA. Since you cannot help, does that mean you have no control over your products? How much does it cost to double the length of that cable? It surely wouldn't eat all your profit you make on your phones. My wife has a Nokia20 years old and cable is nearly two metres long. My old Samsung phone, S350 or something, has the cable about 1,2 m long. When did you become so desperate that you have to shave off half a metre of cable to survive? Head of your dep't of 'Customer care' should be fired on the spot (still might happen if HO sees this). To conclude: a pathetic answer not worthy of one of the biggest companies in the world. Or, maybe, that is why you are so arrogant.
