Buy & Get Terms and Conditions Contradiction Catch

Samsung has not resolved my issue with the Buy & Get Terms and Conditions and just keep pointing back to these as their 'getout' without resolving mu issue with them. I understand that they have managed to catch me out with the Terms and Conditions and that in terms of those I did not make my booking within 1 year of getting the voucher code.

My issue was that I feel the Terms and Conditions are unfair and contradictory because you are able to fly up to the 31st of July 2019 and need to book 4 weeks in advance which means your voucher should be valid until the 3rd of June 2019.

However the voucher expires 1 year after it was issued which is almost always before the 3rd of June (since you have a limited time to claim it). Also, the date you get the voucher is different for different people depending on how quickly they claim it. The expiry date of the voucher should be the same for everyone and it should be valid up until one is still eligible to make the bookings i.e. the 3rd of June 2019.

Standard response from Samsung which makes everyone here think they will help. However in the background they will just point to the Terms and Conditions without actually considering the heart of the issue which is that the Terms and Conditions are the problem. They are unfair and seemingly there to catch one out (which they did in my case and I'm normally very careful not to be caught out). Samsung are well known for this. In the States they had a reward programme that as per the Terms and Conditions only allowed one claim per address. This then excluded people living in apartment blocks even though they were in different households. Fortunately the consumer protection bodies have teeth their and Samsung were forced to honour the rewards for other households in apartment blocks.
